In the community
Keeping with our theme of ethically sourced raw material as well as reducing our Crabon Footprint, we endeavor to give back as much as possible to our local community in sustaining them and skilling them for the future.
We are very conscientious, when it comes to our book distribution project to the school children of the local area. They are our future, and education will uplift their status in life. Hence, our commitment for the 3 rd year running to equip thee youngsters for a new school year. We supply school books and school supplies to at least 5o families in the local area in close corporation with the local school authority. This outreach for the children of today and the youth of tomorrow we hope we serve to break the cycle of poverty and substance abuse, identified in the community.
With the more immediate focus on the youth today, we have enlisted ourselves to be the government registered facilitator for the NVQ qualification for wood work and carpentry in the island. Under this programme, many youths will use our modern, well equipped facility to skill themselves and earn a level 4 NVQ certificate over the course of 6 months. This gives us immense satisfaction that we are able to make a great impact on the lives of youngsters.
The annual book donation organized by Premier Wood Winners (Pvt) Ltd for the 5 th consecutive year at Kings Revival Childens’s home Uswetakeyyawa for the less fortunate & needy children. Thank you Jesus for giving us the grace to be a blessing a verb “ GIVING “ common to our family.
